My art studio is nestled in Falmouth’s Old Brewery Yard, just a stone’s throw from the sea. Bathed in natural light, it’s the perfect space for painting, surrounded by great company and the vibrant energy of the local creative community. The Old Brewery Yard is a lively hub shared with fellow artists, a Michelin Guide restaurant, and the iconic Chintz Bar, making it a place full of constant creativity and inspiration.
everday nostalgia
Inspiration often finds me during my morning walks or moments spent in nature. I gather ideas from the peacefulness of everyday life—the serene coastal landscapes, the melodic birdsong, the wind-chimed harbour boats. There’s so much beauty in simple routines: buying bread, sipping coffee, beach walks, and watching the world go by. Everyday moments are what spark my creativity.

the founding of sun + sea
Musing on the clifftops of West Penwith, I daydreamed of a space for me to share my art practice, paintings and musings - a space for me to be true to myself and live life slowly (eventually) as a nomadic artist.
When thinking of a name and visual identity to craft under, I felt a divine connection to Sun & Sea. Two of earths heavenly elements that co-exist and bring fruitful abundance to our existence.
