My inspiration.
My fun unique paintings and dreamy summer giclée art prints are playful yet peaceful, inspired by two of mother earth’s elements, the sun and the sea.

Daily Inspo
Stepping outside, I find inspiration in my daily surroundings, and enjoy playfully re-imagining the familiar.
Putting to paper the sweet hum of life's everyday simple pleasures; early morning bird song, coffee in the sun, fresh sourdough, sea swims.

European Summer
Euro summer enjoyed on the Mediterranean coast. Vibrancy and warmth from the sun.
Old towns cobbled together with colourful lime paint, and markets overflowing with fresh heritage fruits.
The hum of locals and the woft of fresh bread. The warm salty sea - an invitation to swim.

Traditional Printmaking
I love screen printing. I love the layers, the shapes, the colour. The ink, the offset, the patience.
As someone with a slow mind, screen printing suits me perfectly.
Many of my current works take inspiration from the layering techniques of printing with a screen.
I often view photographs in blocks of colour and shape, as opposed to a final composition.

Euro Summer
Inspired by my travels and the indulgent months of summer, my work reflects the luxury holidays and affluent vacations of both the past and the future.
A collection of nostalgic memories of a balmy summer once lived.

Indie Film
Film is a big, big inspiration.
I adore films with beautiful cinematography, and short films with ambient scores.

Daydreams.
The thoughts, words, and daydreams that occur in this expanse of time.
Learning from my dreams and my mind, noting inspiration from visual meditations and thoughts afar.
From my Falmouth Studio
In the heart of Falmouth, I enjoy using acrylics, oil paints, and natural materials to paint and mark my thoughts, daydreams and travels onto beautiful plywood pieces and naturally dyed cotton papers.
